This year the blossoms were slightly more pink than last year ~~ the view from the Roastery in Nakameguro is truly blissful, I suggest to get there around 6 and line up to enjoy breakfast over the blossoms at 7am. Of the usual viewing places Shinjuku gyoen might be my favourite: the classy park even features a greenhouse. But blossoms can be seen all around Tokyo …
…. and just as quickly as they arrived they left, washed away by some ordinary spring rain
